Combining the thickness of an air pad with the plush durability of a foam pad, Flyer offers reliable comfort on
the trail and now has a more cushioned feel without sacrificing packability. Designed with a groundbreaking
manufacturing approach that removes nearly 60% of the foam, the pad self-inflates to increase thickness
and provide ridged baffling for faster recovery after a hard day on the mountain. This year’s design update,
however, introduces an air baffle around the perimeter, too. By removing foam from around the edge, we could
then increase the thickness of the “bridge” in between each baffle with no weight penalty. The result is a more
comfortable Flyer at the same size and weight as before!
